General surgery

I am looking for a general surgeon to write this section.

You may want to consider how general surgery may be different in the absence of medical imaging: no on demand ultrasound, CT or MRI scans.  Clinical history taking and examination may increase in importance over investigations.  General surgery may become more general than it is at present and encompass pediatric surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery and urology, rather than these being the domain of sub-specialists.
